Under the Indus Waters Treaty which rivers are assigned to India

The treaty allocates the three eastern rivers to India which are Ravi Sutlej and Beas. Pakistan receives rights over the three western rivers which are Indus Jhelum and Chenab with limited uses for India. The agreement created monitoring institutions and dispute steps that continue to guide shared basin management.
