Kachura Lake is located in

Kachura Lake is found near Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan. It has two main parts Upper Kachura and Lower Kachura which is also called Shangrila Lake. The lake lies at an altitude of around 2500 meters. It is surrounded by mountains forests and natural beauty. Tourists visit the lake for boating fishing and trekking. Kachura Lake is also known for its clear water and peaceful environment. It is one of the major attractions of the Skardu valley.
