When was diarchy introduced in the Subcontinent

Diarchy began under the Government of India Act nineteen nineteen. It divided provincial subjects into transferred and reserved lists. Elected ministers handled transferred subjects while governors and officials held reserved ones. The scheme aimed to train political leadership under supervision. It remained until the Government of India Act nineteen thirty five changed the model.
