"The All Parties Conference of 1928 was a major political meeting in pre independence India where leaders from different political groups came together to discuss constitutional reforms. The conference aimed to address communal tensions and propose a framework for self governance under British rule. One of the outcomes was the Nehru Report which recommended a dominion status for India but its provisions were opposed by the Muslim League for not providing adequate safeguards for Muslims."
